PAtT provides a professional association for school and college secretaries and administration staff.

Services that PAtT provides for its members include:

• professional and legal support and advice from local Field Officers (members specially trained to help with contractual  or other employment law matters), Branch/Federation Secretaries or Council Members, or from the Association's Solicitor and Professional Officers at Derby Head office (details in the Members' Handbook)

• local and national representation

• financial and commercial benefits, and 

• a regular journal and useful publications.     

PatT is part of the PAT trade union, and works in co-operation with the School of Educational Administration.
